GrowStrong
How we turned a paper-based child development methodology into a platform parents can use
The founders had years of clinical expertise and a child development methodology already proven on paper. What they did not have was software, a technical team, or a way to judge which of the many things they could build were the few they should.

The challenge
The founders had years of clinical expertise and a child development methodology already proven on paper. What they did not have was software, a technical team, or a way to judge which of the many things they could build were the few they should.
The goal was to get a working platform in front of real families quickly, without committing to a large build before the idea had been tested.
What we built
Together with the founders, we mapped the full journey, from the first question a parent answers to the guidance they receive at the end. We then designed and built GrowStrong as a platform that allows the team to:
- Create and edit developmental assessments without a developer
- Define areas of development, age groups and scoring bands
- Write the guidance a parent receives at every result
- Publish a new version of an assessment without affecting completed results
- Manage resources and public pages
- Control access by role
- Anonymize family data on request
- Work entirely in their own language
For parents, the assessment is one question per screen, saves progress on every answer, and returns readable guidance rather than a score.
The product was built on a modular architecture designed to support new assessments, new age groups and future integrations.
The result
GrowStrong replaced a paper process with a product the founders’ own team runs day to day. Instead of building the methodology into the software, we treated it as content, so a psychologist can refine an assessment without it becoming a development ticket.
It also created a foundation for future work: additional assessments, new age groups, and expansion beyond the first market.
If you have the expertise and not the software yet, the first decision matters more than the first sprint. That is the conversation we would want to have with you.
